The Architecture & Engineering (A&E) Construction Division, Office of Acquisition, is responsible for procuring architecture, engineering, and construction services for the BEP's Washington, DC and Fort Worth, TX facilities.

The scope of the A&E services include but are not limited to the contractor providing professional design services for architectural, engineering, mechanical, electrical, structural, and other related services performed by licensed professional personnel. The A&E may also be required to perform tasks associated with research, planning, studies, investigations, and consultation.

The scope of the construction services include but are not limited to the construction contractor providing management, supervision, labor, materials, tools, and equipment for general construction services. Construction services may range from installation of production equipment, safety and environmental requirements, and office renovations.

The BEP utilizes multiple awards of indefinite-delivery task order contracts for both A&E and construction contracts.
