Planning and Evaluation

PECO takes the lead in CIT IT Strategic Planning and Information Resource Management (IRM) planning, investment review, annual program planning and associated budget planning, and compliance with regulatory IRM requirements. This organization is responsible for coordinating CIT analyses and reports on a variety of regulatory, policy, and legislative topics including implementation of OMB Circulars A-11, A-76, A-123, and A-130, the Federal Activities Inventory Reform Act (FAIR), the Clinger-Cohen Act (CCA), and the Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA). IT Acquisition

PECO coordinates acquisition of information processing resources by implementing procurement policies as required by HHS directives, OMB guidance, regulations, and legislation. It develops and updates procedures and associated staff training programs, and ensures compliance with IT procurement regulations via the CIT IT Acquisition Checklists.
