Summer Residential Enrichment Program

Applications are being accepted for the Health Careers Opportunity Program paid Summer Residential Enrichment Program (SREP). Housed at Urban Health and Diversity Programs of UIC School of Public Health, the SREP prepares disadvantaged undergraduate juniors and seniors and recent college graduates to pursue master's and doctoral degrees in public health. The SREP is a 10-week program.

Accepted students participate in structured academic enrichment activities designed to improve their academic performance, strengthen their competitiveness, prepare for the Graduate Record Exam (GRE) and help them to develop a better understanding of public health practice and research.
