Apply for Membership on the Electronic Tax Administration Advisory Committee (ETAAC)

Are you a tax professional who is knowledgeable on issues in electronic tax administration, and has some good ideas on making the tax ecosystem better? If so, this may be the perfect volunteer opportunity for you. The Internal Revenue Service is accepting applications to fill vacancies on the Electronic Tax Administration Advisory Committee (ETAAC). Members will serve a three year term and write an annual Report to Congress to provide advice and guidance for future IRS policy or strategic considerations.

Applicants should submit a resume and complete an application form. The DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTING APPLICATIONS IS THURSDAY, MAY 24, 2012. Please note that ETAAC members may not be federally registered lobbyists.
