Generalized Segmentation ToolboxProject Member(s): Rodney Long, Sameer Antani
CEB has carried out technical work with Texas Tech University toward the development of a generalized shape segmentation
system that incorporates capability for segmenting images using statistical modeling methods, including Active Shape
Modeling and Active Appearance Modeling. The system, which is oriented toward the segmentation of spine x-ray images,
but may be applied to other images as well, also incorporates the Generalized Hough Transform.
