Resources for women as military service members, as veterans, and families affected by military service
Since 2008, ORWH has been partnering with the Department of Defense (DoD) and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to advance research relative to women serving in the military, or as veterans, and the impact of their service on families and communities.
This section will highlight recent research relevant to this area, and also includes background research on PTSD, TBI, Care-giving, and other associated health concerns. Content has been drawn from NIH research, as well as research conducted at the VA and the DoD.
