Recovery Blog

Comment Policy

In keeping with the Recovery Board’s mission to promote transparency and accountability, this blog will provide the public a forum for openly and enthusiastically discussing the details and particulars of the Board and its overall mission. Most importantly, this blog provides us with the opportunity to hear from you. We welcome and encourage your comments. Your ideas, thoughts, and concerns are important to ensure that a broad range of Americans are active and informed participants of how the Recovery Board’s work gets done.

This blog is moderated so all comments will be reviewed before they are posted. We expect conversations to follow the conventions of polite discourse, therefore, we will not post comments that:

  • contain obscene language, personal attacks, offensive terms that target individuals or  groups, or threats
  • promote services or products
  • are clearly off-topic
  • directly report allegations of fraud, waste and/or abuse
  • are spam

We do not edit comments to remove any objectionable content. Avoiding the above material ensures that your comment will be posted.  And while we encourage you to post comments, please consider that this blog may not always be the appropriate venue for those comments.

Moderating and posting comments occurs during regular business hours Monday through Friday. Comments submitted after hours or on weekends will be read and posted as early as possible; in most cases, this means the next business day.

The blog is not the appropriate place to report allegations of fraud, waste and/or abuse; comments reporting allegations will not be posted.  Instead, we encourage you to use one of the following options:
