Progress towards the 8.1.1 release of Adobe Reader continues to be on schedule. The fixes of specific interest to Grants.gov that deal with file bloating and selection lists has been included in the most recent code "freeze."

Through August, Adobe will perform alpha testing and expects to have a beta release of the software available by early September. Grants.gov 2007 System Deployment with Adobe Forms
Grants.gov will roll back the system deployment changes from July 9, 2007 to address technical performance issues that resulted in slow processing response times. This system deployment roll back will occur on July 29, 2007 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM ET. The Grants.gov site will be unavailable during this time. Although users were always able to search and apply for grants via Grants.gov, the decision to roll back was based on the need to provide users with optimal service delivery and availability.

Please be assured that this roll back will not affect your ability to search and apply for grants through Grants.gov. All services will be available and users should see no degradation of service or system responses.

Grants.gov appreciates your patience as we make these improvements. For updated information, please refer to the “What’s New This Week” bullets on the Grants.gov homepage.
