Tommie McKoy
Tommie McKoy is an Extramural Support Specialist. Prior to joining ARP,
Tommie was a Division of Extramural Activities Support (DEAS) Supervisory
Extramural Support Program Specialist with the National Institute on Alcohol
Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA). During that time, Tommie supervised a staff that
supported NIAAA's Contracts, Grants, Program and Review business areas. Prior
to his supervisory duties, Tommie spent the majority of his government career in
NIAAA's Review Branch as an Extramural Support Assistant. Before entering
government service, Tommie enjoyed a 14-year management career in the private
sector where he held a vast number of management positions that included
Industrial Engineer, Warehouse Distribution Manager and Senior Logistics
Manager. Tommie received his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology,
Manufacturing Systems from North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State
University located in Greensboro, North Carolina.
