Explaining Anemia: A Comparison Study
This study is currently recruiting.

The purpose of this study is to determine if red cell survival is decreased in older people compared to younger people.

This study requires a screening visit and a maximum of 15 study visits including 1 overnight visit over approximately 4 months.

You may be eligible if you:

 

- Age 18-50 or over 70

- Not pregnant

- No history of kidney failure

- No abnormal liver function

- No history of blood disorders

- No Hepatitis B, C or HIV
