Blood and Marrow Transplant Clinical Trials Network (BMT CTN) Treatment for Acute Graft-Versus-Host Disease (BMT CTN 0302)

Objectives

This study was a randomized Phase II, four arm treatment trial. Patients with newly diagnosed acute GVHD received corticosteroids plus one of four agents: etanercept, mycophenolate mofetil (MMF), Denileukin Diftitox (ONTAK) or pentostatin. Each agent was assessed for safety and efficacy compared to historical complete response rates to acute GVHD therapy with corticosteroids alone.
