The stories range from children in daycare who can get timely treatment through a telemedicine program to an unemployed truck driver who went back to work after receiving the care he needed from a local health care access initiative. This video series has won three Bronze 2011 Telly Awards in the categories of Government Relations, Health and Wellness, and Information. Telly Awards honor distinguished work in areas including video and film productions, and web commercials, videos and films based on a prestigious international competition. This video series has also won two Gold Hermes Creative Awards in the categories of Web Video and Video/Government. Hermes Awards are determined on the basis of an international competition and recognize excellence in traditional and emerging media. In addition, the series won a 2010 Aegis Award in the category of Training/Education. The Aegis Awards are the video industry’s premier competition for peer recognition of outstanding video productions and non-network TV commercials.
