Description Essential to being effective as a director and operating a high quality child care center is the quality and scope of your leadership skills. This new credential allows you to explore the concept of leadership in child care and hone these leadership skills. You need not be a center director now (quality instructors, for example, also need to develop their leadership skills) to take this credential, but you should have completed one of the earlier credentials.
