The Air Force Academy's Directorate of Strategic Plans and Programs, Requirements, Assessments and Analyses serves the superintendent by supporting component mission element commanders, including the commandant, dean of faculty, Athletic Department, Prep School, the 10th Air Base Wing, the 306th Flying Training Group and other tenants. Broadly, the directorate supports commanders by developing institutional policy, plans and assessment strategies to enhance mission success.

tabInstitutional Assessment 
The Institutional Assessment Division provides analysis support to decision makers across the Academy. The office provides analytic insight to assist planning and policy formulation, supports Academy positions and improves Academy programs. The division also coordinates with college guidebook publishers and serves as the Academy's survey program manager.
tabPlans, Programs and Institutional Events 
The Plans, Programs and Institutional Events Division develops and manages plans, instructions, special events and airmanship programs in support of the USAFA mission. The office manages the Academy's Strategic Plan and ensures the viability of all USAFA operating plans, contingency plans, and instructions. The division manages high-visibility USAFA special events including Graduation Week, Parents' Weekend, the T.D. White Award and the Conference of Service Academy Superintendents.
tabPolicy and Directives 
The Policy and Directives Division facilitates institutional and policy alignment with Air Force Academy, Air Force and Department of Defense officer development objectives and directives. The office provides feedback to commanders on program design and implementation. It also develops, coordinates, and reviews policy guidance regarding policy alignment with officer development objectives and facilitates integration of officer development processes across the Academy's mission elements.
tabInstitutional Research 
The Institutional Research Division provides analysis support to decision makers across the Academy. The office serves as the Academy's research team leader, manages institutional databases and provides statistical data for internal and external customers. Finally, the Institutional Research Division manages the Institutional Review Board for the protection of human subjects in research.
