In the sixth installment of our API webinar series, we will discuss the role APIs play in your agency's mission, strategy, and tactics—with a specific focus on the Digital Government Strategy implementation.

Presenters from the National Renewable Energy Laboratory and the GSA will review the guidance, tools, and other resources available to you, whether you are beginning to integrate APIs into your digital program or are an advanced user. This webinar will be moderated by Gray Brooks, Senior API Strategist at the GSA's Digital Services Innovation Center.

About the Presenters  

Gray Brooks is the Senior API Strategist at the GSA as part of the agency's recently launched Digital Services Innovation Center. His role in the Center is to promote the role of Web services in government and to support federal agencies in the implementation of the Digital Government Strategy's milestones.

Prior to GSA, Gray served at the FCC for the last 3 years as part of the digital team overhauling the agency's Web presence and standing up its current Drupal site.

Nick Muerdter is a software engineer at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL). He leads the development of several public APIs, and also works on NREL's overall API strategy with the aim of making APIs easier to develop, deploy, and consume. Last year he oversaw the launch of developer.nrel.gov, NREL's centralized Web services repository.
