Description
Join us for our next social media workshop hosted by the Department of Transportation. They will present case studies from their agency on social media and accessibility. The Department of Labor's ePolicyWorks team will lead an in-depth discussion on accessibility obstacles and opportunities in government social media. You will also hear updates on federal-wide social media programs from GSA's Office of Citizen Services and Innovative Technologies and other agencies.

- How accessibility for federal social media can allow all citizens reliable access to critical information, a need underscored recently by reliance on social media for information during Hurricane Sandy
- How the Department of Transportation is integrating social media into its services, and how that helps them deliver better services to their customers
