Add/Edit Grant/Contract Numbers

Note: The iEdison system allows up to 12 grant/contract numbers to be associated with an invention report. The main screen allows entry of the first grant/contract number. Additional grant/contract numbers may be added using the "Add/Edit Grant/Contract Numbers" button. Add/Modify an invention report as described in Add/Modify Invention Reports. Prior to submitting your changes: Enter the agency designation and grant/contract number for the first funding agreement on the main screen (Create New Invention Report - Invention Report Form page OR Modify Invention Report - Invention Report Form page, depending on whether you are adding or modifying). If you need to add/modify additional grant/contract numbers, click Add/Edit Grant/Contract Numbers to access the Add/Edit Grant/Contract Numbers - List up to 12 grant/contract numbers page. Enter the supporting agency and grant/contract number for each additional funding agreement. Note: The funding agreement you entered on the main page will be listed first on the Add/Edit Grant/Contract Numbers - List up to 12 grant/contract numbers page. Click Submit to enter the information. The additional grant/contract number information is saved and the Create New Invention Report - Invention Report Form page OR Modify Invention Report - Invention Report Form page is re-displayed, depending on whether you are adding or modifying an invention report. OR Click Cancel, to cancel the addition/modification of grant/contract numbers. Any changes that were made are ignored and the Create New Invention Report - Invention Report Form page OR Modify Invention Report - Invention Report Form page is re-displayed, depending on whether you are adding or modifying an invention report.   Field Definitions Funding Agreement Number The funding agreement number is composed of the agency designation and the grant or contract number for a supporting agency that has contributed to the Invention Report. The iEdison system allows up to 12 funding agreements to be associated with an Invention Report. The main screen allows entry of the first funding agreement. Additional funding agreements may be added using the "Add/Edit Grant/Contract Numbers" button. Agency Designation Each Invention Report in the iEdison system must include a primary agency. If the invention has been supported by additional federal agencies, the iEdison system allows this to also be reported. Each agency is designated in the iEdison system as an acronym. The following is a list of valid iEdison agency designations. The format of the grant/contract number follows that of the associated agency.
