Biography 

Command Sergeant Major Brunk W. Conley was selected as the 10th Command Sergeant Major of the Army National Guard on September 26, 2012.

 In his current position, Command Sergeant Major Conley represents and advises the Director of the Army National Guard on matters pertaining to Army National Guard policies and actions that affect enlisted Soldiers of the Army National Guard through meetings, conferences, information exchanges and on-site observation, coordinates with the Sergeant Major of the Army and Command Sergeants Major of the Army National Guard and Major Army Command formations; reviews and inspects field training, inactive duty training, overseas deployments and Noncommissioned Officer Leadership schools on behalf of the Director. Command Sergeant Major Conley serves as an advisor to members of various service related councils, boards and workshops to include: the Department of Defense Reserve Forces Senior Enlisted Advisory Council; Reserve Components Coordinating Council; Reserve Forces Policy Board; Army Reserve Forces Policy Committee; the Command Sergeant Major Selection Boards; and the National Guard Bureau’s Command Sergeant Major Advisory Council.
