Biography
Yingjun (Grace) Zhou joined the Epidemiology and Genomics Research Program as a cancer research training award fellow in the Clinical and Translational Epidemiology Branch. In this capacity, she is involved in projects related to cancer risk prediction models, pharmacoepidemiology, and pharmacogenomics.
Prior to joining EGRP, Grace was a Special Volunteer in NCI's Division of Cancer Epidemiology and Genetics. In this capacity, she conducted literature reviews, built risk prediction models using modern machine learning approaches, and analyzed microbiome data. Grace has also been a research assistant at the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing and the College of Life Sciences at Hunan Teachers University, where she received her teaching certificate. While at George Mason University, she was honored with the Chairman's Award for Academic Excellence from the Department of Statistics.
