Security of Wireless Local Area Networks

Program Overview
This course will assist IT Examiners in understanding Wireless LAN Security course consists. This course addresses in detail WLAN intrusion and DoS tools and techniques, functionality of the 802.11i amendment to the 802.11 standard, the inner-workings of each EAP type used with wireless LANs today, and class and types of WLAN security solutions available, from wireless intrusion prevention systems to wireless network management systems.

Key Objectives
Upon completion of this course, participants will acquire the necessary knowledge to implement and manage wireless security in the enterprise by creating layer2 and layer3 hardware and software solutions with tools from the industry leading manufacturers.

Instructional Format
Hands-on computer lab combined with lectures and class discussion.

Four days.

Participant should have attended ITEC and all Basic Level courses.
