Onboarding Manager (OM) at NIH

Overview

Onboarding Manager

In 2012, the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) began transitioning to a new onboarding system created by the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) called Onboarding Manager.  Onboarding Manager, which is a module within the USA Staffing System, is a tool that enables new hires to complete their forms electronically and is expected to be fully implemented during the first half of FY13.  Some of the exciting features available in this system are electronic signature and an interface with both the HHS Careers (USA Staffing) system and eOPF!  These features will help streamline the orientation process and also promote the Go-Green Initiative.

The Onboarding Manager Pilot re-launched within the Office of Human Resources at NIH in November 2012, with plans to expand usage to additional users within the coming months.
