    El 11 de octubre La Ministro Consejero de la Embajada de los Estados Unidos Laura Dogu se reunió con muchachas estudiantes líderes que pertenecen a Jóvenes en Acción para conmemorar el Día Internacional de las Niñas. Este equipo de Jóvenes ...
    en Acción está compuesto por cuatro jóvenes mujeres (del último año de preparatoria) Diana Aguilar, Tania Fernanda Andrade, Jade Itzel Castellanos y Jimena de la Mora. Ellas son estudiantes comprometidas quienes están creando una inovadora campaña que se intitula “¿Quieres ser bell@? Baja la botell@” para inspirar a que jóvenes mujeres y niñas hagan reduzcan significativamente su consumo de alcohol.

    Ellas han estado usando los medios sociales para publicitar sus actividades y diseminar actividades ya existentes en su escuela, así como publicaciones de varios interesantes y divertidos artículos relacionados a su proyecto sobre la prevención del abuso del alcohol. La Ministro Laura Dogu, de parte de la Misión Diplomática de los Estados Unidos y del Departamento de Estado, expresó su apoyo para estas jóvenes emprendedoras y enfatizó la política de la Secretaria Clinton de promover la igualdad de género como herramienta valiosa para alcanzar los intereses de todos los países de obtener paz, estabilidad, prosperidad y seguridad.
