Synopsis: E70261X - Graduate Student Development Series

The National Science Foundation (NSF), Human Resources and Development Division (HRD) intends to procure the products and services of a company to help create, develop, and deliver a Graduate Student Development Series for Graduate Students of the Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP) Bridge-to-the-Doctorate Program during the NSF/HRD Joint Annual Meeting (JAM), which is to be held on June 13-14, 2012 in the Washington, DC area.

The Graduate Student Development series will address the following topics:

  • Topic I - Developing a compelling research idea or project;
  • Topic II - Devising a research plan;
  • Topic III - Developing a research proposal;
  • Topic IV - Conducting a research study;
  • Topic V - Producing a scholarly publication; and
  • Topic VI - Developing and delivering a technical presentation.

The vendor will produce workbooks to accompany the development series and collect assessment and evaluation data pertaining to the development sessions. The vendor will also design, set-up, host, and maintain a virtual learning community for the graduate students attending the development sessions during the 2012-2013 academic year.

This is a Request for Quotations (RFQ).
A statement of work describing our requirement is attached. Terms and conditions will be negotiated with the selected vendor.

Award will be made to the firm whose quote is determined to offer the best value to the National Science Foundation (NSF). In addition to price, NSF will consider the resumes of proposed staff.

Firms interested in this requirement are requested to submit a quote (with pricing for the effort) and a brief capability statement (to include resumes of proposed staff), via email to jgosey@nsf.gov, no later than Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at 12:00 pm, EST.
