Additions and Enhancements

Underage Drinking State Profiles - The State Profiles of Underage Drinking Laws section of the Web site was added.  Each State profile displays summary information in narrative format for the eleven policy topics included in the Highlight on Underage Drinking section.

Update to 1/1/2006 - The Bans on Off-Premises Sunday Sales policy topic was updated to 1/1/2006.

Corrections and Clarifications

Sunday Sales for South Dakota - South Dakota was reclassified as a State that does not ban sales of alcoholic beverages on Sundays. As a result, South Dakota was removed from the Sunday Sales comparison tables (which are limited to States with comprehensive bans on Sunday sales of alcoholic beverages for off-premises consumption) for the entire period of coverage (1/1/1998-1/1/2006); the map and historical chart were also corrected to reflect South Dakota's reclassification as a no-ban State.  This change was implemented after APIS confirmed that some categories of licensees are permitted to sell malt beverages for off-premises consumption on Sundays.
