Additions and Enhancements 

New Enforcement and Compliance section - A new section of the APIS Web site on Measuring Alcohol Policy Enforcement and Compliance provides downloadable resources that can assist in identifying appropriate measures of alcohol policy enforcement and compliance.        

Update to 1/1/2005 - The following APIS Policy Topics have been updated to 1/1/2005.

Policy Topic Jurisdiction Changes
Alcohol and Pregnancy: Reporting Requirements Florida Added legal provisions that contain reporting requirements pertaining to a woman’s use of alcohol during pregnancy. Fla. Stat. ch. 383.14 and Fla. Stat. ch. 39.201. Based on these legal provisions, added check marks in the Who Reports columns for Law Enforcement and Other. Also added a check mark for Refer to Child Welfare under Purpose of Reporting.
Alcohol and Pregnancy: Reporting Requirements Massachusetts Added check marks in the Who Reports columns for Law Enforcement, Health Care/Social Worker, and Other because these individuals are required to notify the Department of Social Services that a child has been determined to be physically dependent upon an addictive drug at birth.
Alcohol and Pregnancy: Reporting Requirements North Dakota Added check marks in the Who Reports columns for Law Enforcement and Other.
Alcohol and Pregnancy: Reporting Requirements South Dakota Added a check mark in the Who Reports columns for Other.
Health Insurance Parity for Alcohol-Related Treatment Mississippi Added check mark for Co-ins & Co-pays in the Parity Required section of the comparison table. Also amended Jurisdiction Note to indicate that this requirement applies only to inpatient treatment.
Health Insurance Parity for Alcohol-Related Treatment South Dakota Added check marks for Deductibles, Co-ins & Co-pays, and Financial Limits in the Parity Required section of the comparison table. Also added Jurisdiction Note indicating that South Dakota's Must Offer mandate, as well as its alcohol-related parity requirements, apply only to inpatient treatment.
