Risk-Taking Behavior and Traffic Safety Symposium Proceedings (Report)

This book presents the results of a symposium held in Chatham, Massachusetts, on October 19-22, 1997, as a need to address risk-taking behavior by drivers as potentially the most cost effective way of bringing about further improvements in traffic safety.  Over 80 traffic safety policymakers, researchers, and practioners attended, and presented their views, learned from others, and discussed the issues and potential solutions at great length.  This book contains the papers and discussions presented at the symposium.  Hardcover, two color, 8.5" x 11", 275 pages.
