Civil Rights Learning Center (CRLC)

Welcome to the Civil Rights Learning Center (CRLC), a place to enjoy, explore and experience many resources for furthering civil rights learning and development. If you have additional inquiries regarding educational materials contact us at CRLC@dot.gov.

Our vision is to be the premiere gateway for connecting learners with civil rights resources.

Our mission is to foster continuous learning of the highest quality by working collaboratively with other agencies and offices to identify and make available appropriate internal and external civil rights curriculum and/or guidance for DOT employees, recipients of DOT financial assistance, contractors and stakeholders.

To achieve our mission, we:

Assist stakeholders with exploring, integrating and applying civil rights learning to their work and their community.  We seek to connect learning center users and stakeholders through varied approaches that create dialogue and build networks around learning, communication and cultural understanding.  Our ultimate goal is to provide resources that will aide learners in effectively responding to evolving needs and issues regarding civil rights administration and application.
