SR420 - SPSS: ANOVA

Description:

    This is an introduction to using statistics in SPSS. The class is targeted to those with some familiarity with SPSS who need to know how to find and run various statistics. The class will start with a few data checking techniques review t-tests then emphasize ANOVA. Various aspects of the software useful in manipulating data to get the most accurate statistics may be reviewed.

    Before attending this course it is recommended that you have either attended SPSS Basics or have related experience.

Objectives:

    Upon completion of the course, the student will be familiar with: Basic Statistics:
  • Data Checking
  • Means and Standard Deviations
  • T-tests ANOVA:
  • Oneway
  • Univariate
  • Repeated Measures
  • Interpreting Interactions - Computing post hoc tests; Creating graphics
