FOIA Frequently Requested Information

Introduction to Farm Payment Files

FSA maintains records on payments made to agricultural program participants in electronic form. In response to public interest in this data, FSA makes it available in two ways. It can be downloaded from this website in the form of flat files or it can be requested through the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).

To make a FOIA request for electronic records maintained by FSA, complete the FSA Electronic FOIA Request Form located at the following link:

If you are seeking data for calendar years prior to 2008, you must file a FOIA request.
