LMS Managing User Accounts

Description
This 1-hour course is one of five modules in the Local Learning Administrator Online Training series. The course will be presented as a webinar via the internet. Prior to the course start date, students are expected to view a video to familiarize themselves with the steps needed to complete the exercises. Multiple views are recommended as needed. Upon completion of all five modules, participants may apply for administrator permissions in the LMS. During this course, hands-on exercises will be completed by learners to verify their understanding of the content. Participants are expected to have these materials readily accessible at the start of class.
*NOTE* NIH LMS Administrator permissions in the HHS Learning Portal are now managed through WiTS. Detailed instructions for obtaining LMS administrator permissions are located on the HR Systems Support website at https://intrahr.od.nih.gov/hrsystems/newaccounts.htm.

- Searching for LMS user accounts
- Updating User account profiles
- Reactivating deactivated user accounts
- Configuring the LMS to display more useful information All materials will be provided to the learner electronically prior to the beginning of class. Participants are expected to have these materials readily accessible at the start of class. Support for administrators is available after training via tip sheets, help desk, and access to the NIH LMS Implementation team.
