NIDA IRP Education and Training Opportunities

Training programs at the NIDA Intramural Research Program are designed to train the next generation of leaders in basic and clinical drug abuse research. The areas of intramural research at NIDA range from basic molecular and cellular mechanisms of drug action through animal models of addiction to human laboratory and treatment research.

NIDA provides research training opportunities for students at all levels of education. There are specific programs for high school, undergraduate, postbaccalaureate, graduate, medical, and postdoctoral students. General information about the NIH research and training programs can be found here: http://www.training.nih.gov. Specific information about each training program can be found here: https://www.training.nih.gov/programs.

NIDA is committed to increasing the participation of underrepresented populations in basic and clinical drug abuse research.
