Events

  1. How do I add an event?

In order to add an event, an organization must register. Registration is quick and easy and allows you to add events and place orders for free products.

  2. What types of events can I add?

Any event related to women or girls and HIV/AIDS can be added to our website. Local, nationwide, or online events can all be added to our event list. Get more event ideas in our planning guide PDF Ideas for Celebrating National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day (PDF, 152 KB). Or add an event now.

  3. Why can't I add an event that is before February 10 or after April 10, 2013?

National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day is observed March 10. We are only accepting events that occur one month before and after the observance.

  4. I submitted an event but it doesn't appear on the website. Why not?

Before an event can be displayed on our site, it must be reviewed and approved first. Event review and approval can take up to 3 business days to complete. You will receive an automated email when your event is reviewed. Sometimes after reviewing an event, we cannot approve it. If we did not approve your event, you will find notes from the event reviewer in the Help section at the bottom of your My account page.
