AVAILABILITY OF PUBLICATIONS OF REGULATIONS 26 CFR PART 270, MANUFACTURE OF TOBACCO PRODUCTS AND26 CFR PART 275, IMPORTATIONS

Manufacturers of tobacco products; importers of tobacco materials, tobacco products, and cigarette papers and tubes; proprietors of customs bonded cigar manufacturing warehouses, class 6; and others concerned:

Purpose. This industry circular is to advise you that the new regulations codified in Title 26 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Part 270, entitled "Manufacture of Tobacco Products," and new regulations codified in Title 26 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Part 275, entitled "Importation of Tobacco Materials, Tobacco Products, and Cigarette Papers and Tubes," have been printed in booklet form and are available for purchase.

Purchase of publications. Part 270 designated "Internal Revenue Service Publication No. 212," may be purchased at the price of 25 cents each; and Part 275 designated "Internal Revenue Service Publication No. 217," may be purchased at the price of 25 cents each, from the Superintendent of Documents. The rules of his office require that remittance be made in advance of shipment of publications, either by coupon (sold in sets of 20 for $1) or by check or money order payable to the Superintendent of Documents.

Inquiries. Inquiries concerning purchase of the publications should be addressed to the Superintendent of Documents, Government Printing Office, Washington 25, D. C. Other inquiries relating to this industry circular should refer to its number and be addressed to the office of your assistant regional commissioner (alcohol and tobacco tax).
