TTB APPOINTS NEW STATE LIAISON

Washington, D.C. – The Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) has announced the appointment of Forrest (Frosty) Chapman to a newly established State Liaison position. As the Assistant to the Administrator (State Liaison), Mr. Chapman’s duties will include developing and implementing programs designed to provide harmonious relationships and the effective interchange of information between the State Agency Administrators and TTB.

Mr. Chapman served as the Director of Personnel for the State of Nebraska from 1983 to 1985. In 1985, Mr. Chapman became the Executive Director of the Nebraska Liquor Control Commission and served in that capacity till December, 2003. In January of this year Mr. Chapman became the first Executive Director of the National Conference of State Liquor Administrators.

TTB Administrator Arthur Libertucci said; “Mr. Chapman brings years of experience working in State government on alcohol regulatory matters to TTB. This experience and the relationships he has forged through his work with State administrators will benefit TTB and the States in reaching a better understanding of the issues and limitations both face in developing alcohol regulatory programs.”

Mr. Chapman received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska and currently lives in Lincoln, Nebraska with his wife and two daughters.
