On July 26, our nation will celebrate the 22nd anniversary of the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), which established requirements for equal opportunities in employment, state and local government services, public accommodations, commercial facilities, transportation, and telecommunications.  This landmark law has changed forever how our nation views and treats citizens with disabilities – including people with mental illnesses and addictions.
