How to get more out of the National Survey on Drug Use and Health

A recently released NSDUH Report on state-level underage alcohol use and self-purchase of alcohol showed that rates varied somewhat from state to state.

Thousands Comment on SAMHSA’s Plan on Leading Change

Now that the comment period has closed for Leading Change: A Plan for SAMHSA’s Roles and Actions 2011 – 2014, SAMHSA is reviewing the feedback received and developing a final version of this plan.  Nearly 3000 people participated in  SAMHSA’s web-based Strategic Initiatives Forum, submitting almost 2500 ideas and comments and casting more than 23,000 votes.  In addition SAMHSA staff, Federal partners, stakeholder groups, and National Advisory Council members provided written feedback.  This level of participation and comment is gratifying and underscores the importance of SAMHSA’s …
