The NIH Chemistry Interest Group

The mission of the NIH Chemistry Interest Group (CHEMIG) is to showcase the unique role of chemistry in biomedical research and to promote communication among Washington-area scientists with this common interest.  Although created primarily for NIH researchers located across 27 NIH institutes and centers, we welcome and indeed encourage membership of chemists worldwide provided they are associated with a professional organization and can contribute positively to the mission of NIH and the CHEMIG.

The CHEMIG listserv is used to publicize seminars and other opportunities of interest to members of the CHEMIG.  The group moderator is Dan Appella.
