Genisis-X provides re-entry services to anyone with a past conviction (excluding sexual offense convictions) returning to the greater Flagstaff area. Funded by the U.S. Department of Justice/Weed & Seed and the 2009 Federal Recovery Act (ARRA Byrne), Genisis-X provides clients with job placement/referral/coaching, housing assistance, educational assistance, emergency services and case management. Genisis-X is a program of the Sunnyside/Southside Weed & Seed.
The Second Chance Mentoring for Incarcerated Mothers Program provides intensive, one-on-one mentoring to incarcerated mothers who are within six months release from the Harris County WHO-A facility. All mothers in the program have a history of substance abuse and have a substance abuse related offense. Throughout the duration of the program, participants have access to a broad range of reentry services including employment and training services, substance abuse and mental health counseling, housing assistance and spiritual support.
Over a 3-year period a consortium of criminal justice, social service and
private non-profit case managers provided intensive post prison services including special court hearings, addiction treatment, job, housing, education, mental health treatment, and special public defenders to handle all personal and supervision related issue. One of the most diffiult issues was finding ways to enlist released prisoners in the program. Enrollment was so low that finally all qualified offenders were required to participate. Program retention was poor and recidivism was high. Most of the involved offenders has very extensvie criminal histories.

The 180 Degrees residential program provides transitional housing to adult male offenders released from prison.
Project START is an effective re-entry program focusing on reducing HIV/STD/hepatitis risk reduction. The original research was among 18-29 year old men being released from prison. It has now been adapted for all individuals who are returning to the community after incarceration, regardless of age, gender, HIV status, or detention setting.
We provide wrap around serives for ex-offender's which includes chronic and acute medical care as well as mental health treatment, with a substance abuse treatment component. We also provide a mentoring program which utilizes a clearinghouse of reentry services avaiable to ex-offedners in the community.
The Youth Employment Partnership (YEP) serves youth and young adults 14-24 via three main strategies: summer jobs for teens, afterschool jobs, and comprehensive young adult employment and education services. We serve Oakland residents with multiple barriers to employment in the formal economy, including low-income, current and former foster youth, high school dropouts, and re-entry populations.
Wings of Freedom is a Sober-Living program providing housing coupled with substance and alcohol abuse recovery assistance through mentoring in large and small group setting. Wings is a Faith-Based program providing "A hand-up, not a hand-out".
Jobs program that hires ex-offenders out of prison 60 days or less to work in electronic recycling social enterprise business. Program includes broad array of wrap around services designed to increase skills and education while participants earn money and have the opportunity to look for better paying work. Services include probation and parole compliance monitoring.

We are a nonprofit program committed to helping men/women/families who are having a differcult time adjusting to the rigors of day to day family orientation after being placed in a dsysfunctional state by circumstances beyond thier capibilities. This could mean families placed in social service system or one or both parents being caught up in the criminal justice system. The service we provide are as follows . psychological assessment, legitimate life skills training,job skills training,individual and group counseling. At present we are currently working on a transitionalhousing program for contra costa, and alameda county.

The Empowerment Program provides re-entry services for women leaving prisons and jails. Employment, drug and mental health assessment and treatment, education and some housing resources are available. Services are trauma informed and woman-centered. Empowerment is a licensed drug and specialty mental health agency in Colorado. No fees are charged.

The Harlem Reentry Court, located at the Harlem Community Justice Center, helps parolees from the Harlem community make the transition from life in prison to responsible citizenship. Working with the NY State Division of Parole, the Reentry Court provides ongoing judicial oversight to new parolees, linking them to a wide range of social services including drug treatment, health care, and employment assistance.
The Oregon Youth Authority, in partnership with the Oregon Juvenile Department Director's Association, is developing a comprehensive procedural infrastructure for youth transitioning from close custody facilities back into the community. The project population is high risk youth with AOD or AOD/mental health treatment needs returning to the three geographic regions in the state where data show disproportionate numbers of parole failures due to these conditions. This project will provide the information necessary to replicate this infrastructure throughout the state.
OpenDoors is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to strengthen communities by supporting the formerly incarcerated. The OpenDoors reentry program uses a holistic approach to support offenders as they prepare to leave prison, return home, and stabilize in the community. The agency's programs include discharge planning within Men’s Minimum Security, policy and advocacy on criminal justice issues, our one-stop Resource Center, our peer and one-on-one mentorship program, and our regular workshops in job readiness, housing, financial literacy, computer skills, recovery services, and more.
