Description:

Chemistry researchers need to know how to retrieve information about chemical compounds. Learn how to search MEDLINE, ChemID, and other databases for chemical names and CAS registry numbers and how to explore the Internet for additional chemical data. The availability of the Beilstein database for searching for chemical structures and substructures at a library terminal and acquiring a personal SciFinder account to search the Chemical Abstracts database will be discussed.
