Roy S. Wu, PhD, Branch Chief, CGCB

Following graduation from the University of California at Berkeley and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Dr. Wu was a post-doctoral fellow and Lecturer in the Department of Zoology at the University of California at Berkeley. William D. Merritt, PhD, Program Director

Dr. Merritt joined CGCB/CTEP as a Program Director in January, 2006, where his major focus has been to manage a portfolio of clinical grants in the areas of stem cell transplant and immunotherapeutic and drug therapies for hematologic malignancies. In this position he has also been active in the management of the Blood and Marrow Transplant Clinical Trials Network, which is co-funded with the NHLBI, with a specific interest in promoting the network’s collaboration with the NCI-sponsored cooperative groups. Dr. Song joined Clinical Grants and Contracts Branch, Cancer Therapy Evaluation Program (CTEP), Division of Cancer Treatment and Diagnosis (DCTD), as a Program Director in September 2009. Rolanda Wade-Ricks, Program Specialist

Ms. Rolanda Wade-Ricks has several years experience in grants, cooperative agreements and contracts in the administrative and program arena of NCI. Ms. Wade-Ricks joined the Cancer Therapy Evaluation Program (CTEP), DCTD in 1990 as a Technical Assistant for grants and contracts and has been working in the Clinical Grants and Contracts Branch since its inception. Kim Witherspoon, Biologist

Ms. Kim Witherspoon became part CTEP’s Clinical Grants and Contracts Branch (CGCB) in September 2000. She is responsible for the administrative management and oversight of the CGCB grant portfolio. In addition, Kim ensures grantee policy and regulatory compliance as well as assists the Investigational Drug Branch in management of the Phase I Early Phase Clinical Trial Cooperative Agreements.
