On March 3, 2011, the FDIC's New York Region hosted a Regional Regulatory Teleconference on "Managing Third-Party Risk."

The 90 minute session discussed the outstanding guidance for Managing Third-party Risk (FIL-44-2008); highlighted potential risks arising from third-party relationships; described an effective risk management process and the FDIC's supervision of third-party relationships; and included time for questions and answers.
