The Hoover Museum was interesting, it was a bit dull at times but the Black Smith made up for it the black smith was awesome someday i would like to see him make something big other just showing how to start

I thought the Hoover Museum was AWESOME!!!!! Seeing all the artifacts of the Hoovers’.My favorite parts where the blacksmith shop and all the dresses. My favorite dress was the newest wedding dress.well, I gotta go. piece out G scout!

Wednesday was so much fun. My favorite part was when we went in side his dads blacksmith shop, The school, his birth place, and were we saw his burial. I also liked when we walked in and saw Herbert Hover when he was a little boy and was fishing.

On Wednesday the 28th of April, the students of Shellsburg Elementary toured your facility. The exhibits were very intruiging and top notch. I was not satisfied with the small amount of time we got to explore. Our guide was very explanitory, but she rushed us and was quite rude to us. The burial was especially cool to me, because it represented him perfectly. I had many questions, but many were answered by the first movie. The movies were kind of dull but the blacksmith shop made it all worth it. I wish we would do more with the blacksmith shop! Overall it was pretty cool.

I’m from shellsburg elementary and I’ve got to say best field trip ever my favorite part was seeing the black smith. cool stuff. And it was even better then the Linclon museums and stuff in spring field illinois.

It was really interesting. My favorite part was the blacksmith shop. It was very cool to go back in time to the 1800s and 1900s. The museum part was awesome! I’m a Girl Scout so I thought the Girl Scout box thing was neat. I never really thought about Herbert Hoover before. I didn’t like the tour part because I couldn’t stay at something or go ahead of the group but it wasn’t that bad. I would also like to blog that the tour guide thought we were 2- year-olds and she SPIT on one of my friends!!!!! I hope she’s never my tour guide again!

It was interesting learning about Herbert Hoover, we were able to see his house, school, and where his dad Jesse C. Hoover worked. We even got to see how the metal was bent. My favorite part was the blacksmith
I thought my tour guide was rude in the museum. I hope if I ever go there I don’t have her as a tour guide again!!!

Herbert Hoover was a very buisey man. he was helping others and feeding the ones in need of food. I also liked the picture of the kids that were nothing but bones.

It was really Awesome! What I thought was really cool was when we got to see the Blacksmith make metal into a fancy triangle! Also Hoover`s house was pretty cool to see too because it was only two rooms in the house it was really small but cool! The Herbert Hoover Library-Museum it a very educational and fun!!

Thank you for letting us come to the Herbert Hoover Historical Park, it was really fun and I really liked it. My favorite part was when we got to go in and see and how to properly go inside the church, and why things were where they are and how people acted in the church. I also learned about the cry room and ” Silent Meetings “. Thank you so much for letting us come!!!!!!!!

I absolutely loved this field trip! I learned so much and had a ton of fun. I liked seeing the blacksmith make the dinner bell. The museum taught me so much. I never knew herbert liked to fish that much. This was the best field trip ever!

The Herbert Hoover Museum and Library was TONS of fun!! My favorite part was the blacksmith and seeing his house. It was really neat when the blacksmith formed the metal into a triangle! And I liked when we saw and learned about the house!

The tour of the house, church, school, and blacksmith were amazing! It’s so incredible that you can actually look at were Herbert Hoover himself was born. It’s incredible to see how people lived back then and left clues for us to unravel one by one. To see the workings of history its self in amazing! You can still see the very house he lived in many years ago is still standing today! It was a great experience!

I thought the Hover Museum was really interesting! I thought Herbert Hoover’s house was the most interesting. I also enjoyed the view from Herbert Hoover’s grave to his home. I like looking at Herbert Hoover’s grave next to Lou ,his wife, was a great sight. Overall the Herbert Hoover Museum was a great field trip and I’m glad that I had the opportunity to go there.

Going to the Hoover Museum was awesome. The statue of IRIS THE GODDESS OF LIFE overlooking the Hoover cottage was very cool as it was from Africa. The cottage overlooking the grave site of Herbert Hoover was very cool as we could see the cottage from the grave site.

THe Hebert Hoover Museum was so fun. We saw the grave site of him and his wife.We saw a real blacksmith.AND we also saw a church. I went there on a field trip with my class. We saw Hebert’s cottage. And a statue of Isis she is the goodness of life.

The Hoover Museum was awesome because I learned how he helped Belgium. After the war France and Belgium their country was ruined. Herbert Hoover had volunteers rebuild the country and they did it.

I had an awesome time at the Hebert Hoover Museum. We learned were he lived, worked, and went to school. Everything was enjoyable and I learned A LOT. I hope I get to go with my family and friends. I loved everything!!

Wow! The Hoover Museum was awesome! There were tons of cool things to see there.
I had lots of favorite areas. One was the Quaker
meeting house. There we got to have a one minute meeting!
I also liked the statue of Isis. It was cool to see something that children gave to Herbert.

The Herbert Hover Museum was an amazement to me because I loved it when we went to the cottage house where Herbert Hoover was born. Also the thing that I liked was that we were on the tour and we saw the dresses that Lou Henry Hoover wore at her wedding.

My experience was incredible. I saw where he was born, where he went to school, and where his grave is. I also saw a gift that Belgium gave him for saving many lives. The gift was Isis, the goddess of life. She is looking at Bert’s birth place and you can see the grave from his cottage. I’d enjoy going there again.
