Strategic Plans

OPM prepares strategic plans at both the Agency and program level that outline the steps required to achieve a desired future for the organization.

Performance and Accountability

OPM documents its accountability over our resources by preparing the following reports after the conclusion of each fiscal year:

• Agency Financial Report (AFR) - Provides an overview of OPM's financial performance and results to help the President, Congress, and the public assess our stewardship over the financial resources entrusted to us.
• Annual Performance Report (APR) - Provides information on OPM's actual performance and progress towards achieving the goals of the Strategic Plan and performance budget.
• Summary of Performance and Financial Information - Provides key information from both the AFR and APR in a brief, user-friendly format.

Congressional Budget Justification (CBJ)

OPM's CBJ communicates to Congress the policy proposals and other initiatives of OPM and the Administration, and requests resources to support those policies.
