HR LOB and EHRI are delivering significant and quantifiable results to the Federal Government:

  • HR LOB supports modern, cost-effective government-wide HR solutions through shared services to promote strategic management of human capital and reduce redundant investments across the Federal Government.
  • HR LOB's FY 2011 Cost Benefit Analysis model calculates that the Federal government will realize $1.625 billion in cost savings and avoidance through FY 2015 and will continue to realize $184 million per year afterwards.
  • EHRI is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the electronic Official Personnel Folder (eOPF), which protects information rights, benefits, and entitlements of federal employees.
  • EHRI's initiatives eliminate the need for more than 2 million paper employee records, which is anticipated to save almost $800 million over the next 10 years.
