NCGC Informatics group is currently seeking world-class software engineers to help develop a state-of-the-art informatics platform for analyzing, disseminating, and managing of chemical and biological data.  We are looking for talented and passionate developers who love writing code and solving challenging problems.  We are committed in building an integrated, first-in-class software platform for drug discovery.  From user interface design to machine learning algorithm development, we’re sure to have something that piques your interest.  And by the way, all software that we develop will be in the public domain.  If applying the best-of-breed technologies and novel science to help find cures for rare diseases get you excited, then we want to hear from you.

The ideal candidates should possess at least one or more of the following:

• BS/MS/PhD in applied Mathematics, EE, CS, or related fields
• Well-versed in Java Swing and user interface design is highly desirable
• Knowledge of cheminformatics and/or bioinformatics is a plus
• Background experience in building large scale systems, data visualization, machine learning, natural language processing, and/or image processing is a plus.
