The Great Frederick (Md.) Fair celebrated its 150th anniversary Sept. 14-22. The fair is Frederick County's single largest event, featuring some 18,000 competitive exhibits ranging from livestock to home arts, 4-H/FFA, and educational exhibits.

The Gains in the Education of Mathematics and Science (GEMS) Program strives to excite and educate students in STEM careers to meet the long-term national defense needs of the Nation.
The Strategic Partnerships Office develops the educational strategy for USAMRMC and is designed to energize students, teachers and the community in STEM. The office provides support, coordinates activities for six laboratories and serves as the central clearinghouse for communication of educational opportunities.
