Comment Policy

This is a moderated blog, and we will review all comments before posting them.

We welcome your comments at any time, but we will review and post them only during regular business hours. If you submit comments after hours or during a weekend or holiday, we will review and post them as soon as possible the next business day.

Comments should abide by two general rules: Be respectful to others and stay on topic. If your comments include vulgar language, personal attacks or otherwise offensive material, we will not post them. We also won’t post comments that discuss the particulars of individual grants and applications, are clearly off-topic or that promote commercial products or services. We will only post comments from those who are 13 years or older.

When your comments don’t meet these simple guidelines, we won’t post them or we may edit out the inappropriate parts. We may also edit comments for clarity or length. We may use the e-mail address you provide to contact you regarding changes or questions about your comment.

To protect your privacy and the privacy of others, please don’t include phone numbers or e-mail addresses in the body of your comments.

If you want us to post your comment anonymously, type “Anonymous” instead of your name when using the online comment form. While your e-mail address will not appear on the site, you will still need to submit it with your comment, and the blog’s administrators will be able to see it.

Grant Applicants: If you have questions about a funding opportunity mentioned in this blog, please contact the listed person directly via e-mail or phone.

Reporters: Please direct your questions to our communications office: 301-496-7301 or info@nigms.nih.gov.
