up

Deposit.
The
quickest
and
preferred
way
to
sign
up
for
Direct
Deposit
is

Direct
Processing
Center.
Go
Direct
is
a program
sponsored
by
the
US
Treasury
that
allows
you
to
sign
up
most
of
your
Federal
benefit
payments
either
online
or
through
one
phone
call.

you do not have any type of bank account, you will need
to visit a financial institution in your area and set
up an account. When you open your new account, be sure
to tell the representative you also wish to have your
Federal benefit payment(s) direct deposited. If you

for enrolling
in Direct
Deposit.
These methods

Method
1 is preferred,
but we
encourage
you to
choose
the method
best suited
to your
needs.
Formless
or Paper
Enrollment
may
be right
for you
1.
Simplified
"Formless
Enrollment"
allows you
to use your
telephone
or go online
to enroll
for Direct
Deposit of
your Federal
benefits,
Federal salary
and employment
related payments.

2.
Paper Enrollment
(using a
Direct Deposit
Sign Up Form).
If you are
unable to
use Formless
Enrollment
you may sign
up for Direct
Deposit by
completing
an enrollment
form and
submitting
it by mail.
Regardless
of whether,
you wish
to enroll
by telephone
or mail,
or if you
need to change
your deposit
to a new
account or
financial
institution,
you must
complete
a separate
Direct Deposit
enrollment/change
request for
each benefit
payment you
receive.
In
other words,
if you happen
to receive
both a Social
Security
benefit and
a Veterans
Benefit,
you will
need to submit
a Direct
Deposit request
for each
benefit received.
