Find Out More About FDA: New Questions and Answers Available on FDA Basics
In May, based on comments from the public, FDA added 12 new questions to FDA Basics, the web-based resource that provides information about FDA and what the agency does.
Have you wondered how many people work at FDA?

The FDA recommendations for some drugs that are to be discarded that are dangerous – to be flushed down the sink or the toilet! When will we wake up to the need to stop polluting our waterways with discarded medication? It is bad enough that we pass these drugs through our bodies and into waste water – but to actually discard unused drugs in this way should be stopped.
It’s a move in the right direction to see more transparency and information available from the agency that plays such a key role in the health of consumers and their choices they make in their daily shopping.
The page about the organic term should possibly link to the appropriate USDA page so people know someone is taking care of it!
