This Week in CTP – New Break the Chain of Tobacco Addiction Pledge in Spanish & Retailer Fact Sheet

CTP is happy to announce the launch of our Spanish Pledge Widget to Protect Kids from Tobacco. Spanish-speaking tobacco product retailers are on the front lines of the effort to protect youth from tobacco. The pledge encourages everyone – from retailers to parents to community leaders – to support retailers who follow the law and do not sell tobacco products to minors. Please take the pledge today in Spanish or English to protect kids from tobacco!

FDA generally issues Warning Letters to retailers the first time a tobacco compliance check inspection reveals a violation of the federal tobacco laws and regulations that FDA enforces. The Overview: Tobacco Retailer Warning Letters fact sheet provides information on what retailers should do if they receive a Warning Letter. Visit our searchable database for the results of compliance check inspections, including Warning Letters. Explore the Break the Chain of Tobacco Addiction website for retailer education resources and to learn about federal tobacco regulations and guidance.
